Equity-centered, learning-focused leaders center student voices and experiences to lead for improvement.
Equity-centered, learning-focused leaders center student voices and experiences to lead for improvement. Listening is an act of equity, and you can strengthen how you actively listen to students with this guide that prompts stories about students’ school experiences. Designed by students for students, this guide will be downloadable soon, so you can learn more about what makes your students feel happy and proud.
CEL created the Student Experience Story Guide with students at the center of the development process, from concept to publication. The guide identifies students’ universal wants and needs at school, and it creates avenues to explore the heroes and villains who impact them. One thing that students made loud and clear to us: for them, this is not an assignment. It’s an expectation for better student engagement.
