As the University of Washington Center for Educational Leadership (CEL) Marketing and Communications Manager, Mandy leads efforts to engage partners and share stories of courageous leaders tackling education inequities. Prior to joining CEL, Mandy spent six years in the classroom both in the U.S. and abroad and then led communications efforts at the nation’s first charter school for adult immigrants. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in international media and conflict resolution from American University. She is almost as passionate about dancing as she is about educational justice.
