Katie is a program coordinator who provides high-level coordination for our instructional leadership programs. As part of operations, she designs, coordinates, and executes systems and processes that enable our partners to have great professional learning experiences.
Working at CEL is deeply meaningful to her, and she’s honored to use her professional skills and expertise in collaboration to facilitate clear communication and strengthen working relationships for justice in education. Katie holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and spent 20+ years in social work developing afterschool programs, community groups, and more with families and students coming out of homelessness. Her experience as a student with challenges has also given her an endless passion for the work.
Personally, Katie is a strong-willed, left-handed mezzo-soprano who relishes pastries and consumes music ferociously.
