Karen D. Gallman is a Director at Center for Educational Leadership (CEL), where she helps leaders improve their instructional leadership practice and create equitable student learning experiences through professional learning and coaching.
Before joining CEL, Dr. Gallman was an executive director for Metro Nashville Public Schools. In her 22 years in education, she has served as a teacher, regional technology coordinator, assistant principal, and principal. She also founded Red Lipstick Leadership, a professional network supporting women ascend to leadership positions within education.
Dr. Gallman holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida State University and a doctorate in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University.
