As the University of Washington Center for Educational Leadership (CEL) Operations Manager, Kacey plays a central role in the organization’s systems, processes, human resources, and facilities. Kacey is passionate about elevating the role of operations and ensuring all team members, from student assistants to executives, are set up to experience joy and success. A proud Husky even before joining CEL, Kacey has a bachelor’s degree in English from the UW. She gained operational and administrative experience working for private and public organizations, including a structural engineering firm and local municipalities. She also spent a number of years volunteering with after-school tutoring programs and teaching citizenship classes with Seattle Public Schools, the Boys and Girls Club, and REWA. She resides in Washington with her spouse, their three dogs, and countless plants.
