Jonathan Aldanese-Wells facilitates professional learning for pre-K-12 school leaders focused on equity-based instructional leadership rooted in cultures of supporting strengths-based teacher learning. Jonathan is especially passionate about creating spaces for leaders to learn alongside one another to improve the learning experiences of students, especially students who have been underserved.
For more than two decades, Jonathan has served as an elementary/middle school teacher, instructional coach, and principal in Seattle and New York City. In addition, Jonathan previously led professional learning with Columbia University, Teachers College where he worked with students internationally. Jonathan is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Washington. He resides in Dallas, Texas with his family.
