Job Title: Educational Programs Specialist
Organization: Frameworks of Tampa Bay (FL)

Daphne Miles has dedicated her life to providing the conditions, resources, and experiences that allow children to thrive today and prepare them to do as she has done—become contributing community members who dedicate a portion of their time and resources to the advocacy and service efforts necessary to ensure future generations will also thrive.

Daphne is a lifelong resident of Tampa Bay with over 15 years of public school leadership experience. She is passionately dedicated to creating equitable and inclusive environments where students’ emotional intelligence and academic achievement are prioritized, nurtured, and celebrated every day. Her years as a school administrator allowed her to hone her natural gifts for thinking strategically, solving problems, building community, and cultivating partnerships.

Today, as an Educational Programs Specialist at Frameworks of Tampa Bay, Daphne provides training and coaching to adults throughout the Tampa Bay region on why and how to develop emotional intelligence in their children, students, and mentees.  Daphne’s approach to training and coaching is designed to promote a sense of individual and collective efficacy and commitment to the power of EQ among the adults who are raising, educating, and supporting our community’s children. She creates these experiences by offering engaging content with real-world applications, providing trainees opportunities to reflect and connect, and making sure they always have time to learn from one another.

Daphne holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Science Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida, as well as a Certificate in Management and Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education and Business School. She is a graduate of Leadership Florida’s Class of 2023 and the Non-Profit Leadership Center’s Program for Advancing Racial Equity on Nonprofit Boards. She serves as a board member for Friends of the Children Tampa Bay.
