Mandy joined the Center for Educational Leadership (CEL) in autumn 2022. She leads CEL’s efforts to engage mission-aligned partners and loves sharing stories of courageous leadership that centers student experience to tackle education inequities. Prior to joining CEL, Mandy spent six years in the classroom both in the U.S. and abroad and then led communications efforts at the nation’s first charter school for adult immigrants. She has a BA in journalism from the University of Minnesota and an MA in international media and conflict resolution from American University.
