Katie Lighter is a Program Coordinator at the Center for Educational Leadership and began working with the center in December 2021. She has been coordinating programs and providing administrative support in a non-profit setting for more than 20 years and is skilled in offering trauma-informed services to students who are experiencing homelessness, racism and more. Katie grew up in Seattle and received her bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Western Washington University. Multicultural celebrations, pecan pie and singer/songwriters like Emiliana Torrini are among her favorite things.
