Dr. Stephanie Forman is a Research Scientist in the College of Education at the University of Washington. Her research focuses on how leaders create more just educational systems and transform students’ experiences through changes to policy and to teacher learning and collaboration. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Forman worked in public education as a teacher, instructional coach, and central office leader, specializing in language learning and bilingual education. She holds a B.A. from Pitzer College, a M.A. in Education from Loyola Marymount University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy, Organizations and Leadership from the University of Washington.
