Renee Gallagher is a project director at the University of Washington Center for Educational Leadership. Renee is a passionate educator who brings considerable knowledge and experience in teaching, coaching and leading – in the service of helping all students realize their potential. In her role with CEL, she works side-by-side with administrators and teachers to create effective cultures of teacher learning grounded in a collective vision for student experience. Renee also facilitates learning focused on transforming students’ learning in their math classrooms. Prior to CEL, Renee helped to create and build a small, innovative high school as a math teacher leader and has also worked as a secondary math/science instructional coach, district office PK-12 mathematics coordinator and university math methods adjunct faculty.
